The German game is well known for its vocal fan support during the 90 minutes of each and every match
and this includes the away support who can give as good as the home fans in terms of volume and passion. Well the numbers are in for the 2019-20 season for the size of the away support for each team and they are as follows:

No real surprises in there. The top two spots are occupied by two of the most passionate fan bases in the county. Union Berlin, with a home stadium only housing 24,000, and with very few nearby games, are punching well above their weight. The two “super clubs” in the Bundesliga 2, Hamburg and Stuttgart, also feature.
Further down the list, St Pauli, Dynamo Dresden and Karlsruher SC also made the list, despite playing in the second tier and the top 20 is rounded out by 3. Liga side TSV 1860 Munich, proving they still have a passionate and committed fan base.
